Husband, father, teacher, motivational speaker, and pastor. Alexander M. Toeaina was born October 18, 1957 in San Francisco, California. He grew up in Hunters Point (Bayview District) and attended Balboa High School, he also is the Founder, Pastor, President and C.E.O. of Soul'd Out Christian Center International & Soul'd Out Productions.

After graduating from Balboa High, Alex enrolled at City College of San Francisco receiving high honors in Football (All-League, All-State and All-America). Alex received a full-ride athletic scholarship to attend San Jose State University where he studied criminology, psychology and minored in music.

A bad accident ended any hopes for the big leagues. However maintaining the same discipline, stamina and tenacity he developed as a football player, he learned character and the emotional fortitude necessary for the calling in his life later. A transformed man out of the wild college life, Pastor Alex accepted his calling and gave his life to the Lord in 1981 following his accident. Pastor Alex went on to attend Shiloh Bible College for two years in Oakland, California.

Throughout the the next 10 years, Pastor Alex started his ministry as a choir director for his parents' (the late Elder Rev. Mataifale & Lefefe Toeaina) church. Pastor Alex then was elected president of the youth and held office for 2 terms. Pastor Toeaina was then anointed as F.S.F.G.P.C. organization's music director by his father in 1984. Pastor Alex was later ordained as a deacon by his father. Two years later, he became a preacher after the death of his father in 1986. He started bible studies in his living room in San Francisco in 1991. In 1993 he founded Full Gospel Christian Center that began with 16 members (His family of 8 and 8 others).

>Dr. Violet Kiteley of Shiloh Christian Fellowship ordained and dedicated Pastor Alex with over 34 families and several single individuals to start a ministry of reconciliation. It was focused on bringing people of all ethnicity and>cultures together. Having attended a leadership conference in Oakland, California, God gave him a true meaning of the " Lost " and therefore it brought about changes in the name. F.G.C.C. today is known as Soul'd Out Christian Center International.

>Prior to Pastor Alex's ordination, he spent 8 years with the San Francisco Unified School District. Upon the advice of his mentors, he stepped out in faith and went full-time into the ministry following ordination.

The shocking news of the shooting and deaths of teenagers in San Francisco drove Pastor Alex and First Lady Fia to establish Soul'd Out Productions, a non-profit entity. Their goal was to help underserved families with childcare, job training and youth sports. This started the "What About The Children" sports program and activities. The counseling program established a working relationship with former SF Mayor Willie Brown, SFPD, SFUSD, Youth Guidance Center, Asian Pacific Islanders, SFSU, Tides Foundation and many others. As a result, SOP received funding through county grants to continue their outreach programs. Pastor Alex and SOP/SOCCI were acknowledged by the mayor and city officials for their tremendous contribution and impact their ministry made in reducing crime and strengthening families. Since then numerous activities and projects have sprouted.

Always the teacher and mentor, Pastor Alex dedicated a branch in Kent, Washington in 1994, under the leadership of Pastor Andrew and Maile Toeaina.

In 2001, Pastor Toeaina teamed up with his mentor and Spiritual Father, Dr. Phillip G. Goudeaux of Calvary Christian Center in Sacramento, CA. Together, they form a dynamic formidable "Father-Son" duo that is affecting change locally and globally.

On September 18, 2004, another branch was dedicated in Monterey, California under the leadership of Pastor Kitiona and Felefele Tautolo. Their branch has just relocated to their new facility in Castroville, California.

A Distinguished and Prominent Leader, Pastor Toeaina is recognized throughout the Christian and secular communities, having received numerous awards and proclamations for his contributions to Christian and community leadership in the Bay Area. Being in ministry now for almost 16 years, Pastor Alexander M. Toeaina has only just begun his ministry. The sky is the limit for this radical man of God whose vision is to Win the Lost to the Lord, Train and Disciple them to do the same.

Pastor Alex has been married to Fiaau Toeaina for 24 years. They have six children: >Aslexandria, Albert, Alexis, Alexander II, Lefefe, and Arthur.
